Shark Dissections

The girls have been studying Marine Biology and were very excited to dissect a dog fish (shark). Well, they were excited until they opened the bags and smelled them. Their specimines had rows of teeth and very tough skin. The girls were able to identify the main structures. I am just amazed that they know so much about these animals.

Brooke could immediately tell that both were males before we cut them open. The last thing they did was dissect the stomach. We were shocked to find 2 hooks in the stomach of Brooke's shark.
