Valerie Grace looks forward to Tuesdays at 1:30. It is the time when we have children from two communities over to our house for English lessons, a healthy meal, fun play, and talks about a relationship with Jesus. These are some amazing children. The best part is that we have now established a relationship with the families. Parents make the best teachers, and so establishing these relationships and building trust are important steps to earning the right to speak into the lives of the parents (not only the children). The conversations with the children are always very eye opening....how often do you hear children talk about how their parents got drunk after they were baptized because they held a big party to celebrate the baptism. Please be in prayer for these children and for their families. We know that nothing can be done in our own power. Please pray with us that Jesus would become known, not just by name, but through relationship. Tamia spent "play time" today drawing this with chalk...it says "Jesus loves me a lot" - and she is right!
